15 July 2016 – The 100th anniversary of George Maduro’s birth is celebrated with a bang at Madurodam. The launch of the biography Knight Without Fear and Beyond Reproach, the unveiling of a statue of ‘young George’ by sculptress Jikke van Loon, and the presentation of a short film about George Maduro’s life are among the components of festive day at Madurodam.
